Each year, 20 million dogs are killed in America’s animal shelters. Neglected, helpless and undeserving, dropped off at the side of the road or taken to the shelter because owning a dog became inconvenient, man’s best friend is euthanized in overwhelming numbers. Our program accepts dogs who are only hours away from their deadly injection and are in need of a loving new home.

During their stay at the Academy, all dogs become part of our family. Living on 116 rural acres, healthy food, regular walks and hikes, a warm bed at night and lots of attention and tender loving care prepare your new puppy to be a well-loved and well-rounded pet who appreciates his/her new family.
